Baby Bumps, Babies and Little Beauties

There are new avenues in family portrait photography all the time. If you’re lucky you can have a happy creative relationship with lots of the lovely families you meet. The days where mums covered up their baby bumps with voluminous maternity dresses have long gone! I think Demi Moore pushed that barrier firmly down when she starred on the front page of Vanity Fayre way back in 1991! It makes photography so much more fun!! Showing off your baby bump is something to be delighted about today, and then the story takes another turn as there are endless ideas for newborn baby shoots. A specialist field for many photographers nowadays. Babies quickly turn into very busy little people, who are exhausting but very rewarding to get great shots of. Put the opportunity for couples photography, and family groups into the mix, and you can find yourself having the great honour of being the chosen family photographer. How great is that? Very great indeed if you are a photographer and a people person….. how I love helping people to make memories!
