Black and white portrait of young woman

It’s such an awful day. I was supposed to be taking photographs of a young family with a baby this afternoon, and we have had to reschedule, as they want them taken outdoors. Checking the forecast there are threats of flooding. Don’t you just love a British August? So instead, I’m going through images I’ve taken in the past and reworking them. Changing colour to black and white, and trying to make them look different to how I saw them originally. I’m really enjoying myself. What started out as disappointing, has turned into a lovely distraction. Just like those days we would sit in our caravan on a sodden holiday in Cornwall, getting wet hands from wiping the misted up windows. With our new colouring book, and felt tip pens, creating colour, to make up for the lack of it outside.
