A second promotional photography shoot for the southern rock band Greyfox Conspiracy, out at a derelict church in Abercan. This time the guys were having a video produced for their new release Preacherman I was pretty excited to be involved with the stills photography. These are all seasoned musicians, and I love their grizzly hardcore image. They have set ideas on the sort of images they want, and I’m thrilled I’m able to provide them. I’ve spent years working in portraiture, and its really important to me that I capture the personalities of these very different and individual characters. Each time I meet up with them I get a warm welcome, and they’re always open to different ideas. As much as I loved watching the video guy and how he worked, we had to find a way to get accomplished work without treading on each others toes. I think we had great teamwork, and for this shoot I wanted to convey that old west, gunslinger vibe that the band carry off so well. Check them out, they’re building a big following….we love our rock, right here in the very heart of the Welsh Valleys.
