What a beautiful evening, thankfully just before all this relentless rain we are getting, for a lovely horse photography session. Indie’s young rider Rhiannon is off to equestrian college, and taking her gorgeous Welsh cob mare Indie with her. Lucky girls! I was more than happy to drive up to the stables out towards Woolaston on the Welsh border, camera in hand to capture some lovely photographs to remember this milestone. As is typical of a lovely Welsh cob, Indie had bags of personality! So I knew we would get great images, all helped of course by her very gentle eye and very pretty face! Rhiannon absolutely adores her, and this showed throughout the whole photo shoot. I really enjoyed taking them. We had photographs of her with a bridle, without her bridle, mounted, and unmounted, just ensuring that Rhiannon had many photographs of her lovely horse, with all her characteristics. She was delighted with the portraits when finished, and if my photography makes people happy it makes me smile too!
