Well just wow! Janice wanted some very relaxed and environmental type portraits, for her work as a business coach and also something to reflect her artistic nature, something she had discovered later in life during lockdown. Long hours confined to the house ( as we all were ) meant that not only did she want to make her painting a bigger part of her life, she also found she wanted to allow her beautiful hair to remain her natural grey, as wild and curly and free spirited as she is. We had a very varied photo shoot, to make sure that this lovely lady had all the shots she had required. From walking and reading in nature, to classic headshots, and also surrounded by her art in the privacy of her home. We used natural light, ambient light, and also studio light, and I was pleased to provide Janice with a huge selection of images. Vivacious and elegant I felt I had captured her spirit well, and is often the case, I’ve made a lovely new friend to connect with going into the New Year.
