Oh I totally loved doing these relaxed wedding photographs at Caldicot Castle. The gorgeous Maria and her lovely new husband Joe had planned a very low key, small and intimate wedding. Perfect. Maria was shy about having her picture taken…I don’t understand why! She is simply lovely. But in keeping with their minimal approach we planned a small romantic bridal portrait session at Caldicot Castle. I’m going to offer this smaller package for bride and groom only, for those that do not want the “fuss” but do want all of the love! Perfect for small weddings, second weddings, or even the very camera shy. Within ten minutes of being in front of the camera, all inhibitions were forgotten about. Thats exactly what I aim for… in fact I think this lovely bride and groom may have forgotten I was even there, pointing the lens at them . Again…that’s just what I wanted. How happy, and in love with each other they look. Quite early in the morning, the light was soft and kind. I think it creates a lovely pastel and romantic mood. *sigh*
