Laura and Darren had the most beautiful summer wedding at the wonderful Mounton Brook Lodge in Mathern. One of the first lockdown weddings I was commissioned to photograph. Photographers are now having to think of fun and creative ways to include facemasks and safety as a way of conforming to the ever changing Covid restrictions. But there is something lovely about these smaller weddings. They are more intimate, more personal, and so much fun! Brides and grooms are thinking of ever more novel and exciting ways to celebrate. This beautiful couple are massive Foo Fighter Fans. I couldn’t wait to take my camera and join in the party! With a beautiful ballad version of Everlong sang during the wedding ceremony, the rousing rock version was blasted out at their evening party, in their garden marquee. Laura and Darren were the most amazing new Mr and Mrs! Up for fun, devouring the wedding cake, giving it large on the mixing desk, and dancing like EVERYBODY was watching! I LOVED taking their wedding photographs and would like to wish them all the love luck and happiness in the world.
