I was so happy to be asked to take little Rosie’s first ever portrait. I went to visit this tiny little newborn girl, just six days old, at her family’s home in Rogiet, near Caldicot. Both her Mum and I agreed that we wanted the photographs to be unfussy, and just to capture the feeling and emotion of those first magical days of having a new baby at home for the first time. Rosie was happy to oblige, and slept peacefully throughout, although we did manage to get some precious photographs with her blue blue eyes wide open! I have to say, the perks of the job are pretty special too…who doesn’t enjoy a cuddle?!
