Donna and Graeme had a fun packed wedding, getting married at the pretty little Portskewett Church, and afterwards at Dewstow Gardens for photographs, before joining the wedding guests at Dewstow Golf Club for celebrating!
It was also Graeme’s birthday, so not only was it a double dose of celebration, it ensures that he never ever forgets their wedding anniversary! ( good planning Donna! 😉 )
Their wedding day was towards the end of September, so Autumn was creeping in. Here and there the leaves were falling. The gardens were incredible! The bride looked so beautiful in a blush pink wedding gown, the groomsmen super smart in their welsh kilts and the bridesmaids in teal. A special mention should be made for Glenys, Donna’s mum, who went and fell in an ornamental pond, just before the group shots! There were sighs of relief when we realised she wasn’t hurt, and then LOTS of laughter. I was so glad I’d got some really pretty portraits of her before she left the house. Its not every wedding where the mother of the bride gets to wear two dresses!
What a wonderful day it was. Surrounded by family, Graemes’s whole team of brothers, friends, and loved ones. This crowd really know how to party! I loved celebrating with them, their sense of fun ensured that everybody felt great. Dancing for the first time as a married couple to Ed Sheeran’s ” Thinking Out Loud”, I slipped away and left them to enjoy the rest of their evening. There was so much love!
I wish much luck, laughter and happiness to this lovely couple, and I’m so glad I was there to capture their memories!
